I have Rice rated as a 97 G, but I would like it if his SP and ST were reversed to be a OT, but in general I like this move for both teams.

Wouldnt this be just close to a straight up player swap? That 1st rounder is waaaay excessive in my mind. Maybe a 4th, 3rd at best... but a first? What am I missing here?

I have Rice as a 97 G, but Pena as an 89 G. So I think it's an equitable trade if you're going to play them at G since SP doesn't matter inside as much as outside.

Cleveland is giving up the slightly younger player for a player that's a bit older, you might consider a first rounder an overpay here though, especially now that linemen are being generated with actual speed.

For me the trade was all about Rice for a 1st.

The trade balance was way off, so I added Pena to bring it into the green. His play has been declining the last few seasons for me. With Montgomery and Fitzsimmons playing good, he was the odd man out and expendable. He sweetens the trade for Swish and I got who I wanted.

I'm looking at Rice to solidify the RT spot. I can now move LT May and LG Fifield back to their natural positions. That was my train of thought anyways.

Rice only has 16 SP. He's a total liability at tackle in the new code. You'd be better off finding a 99 SP TE with 90+ pass block and 10 ST.
