congrats to both...every accomplishment was well deserved but 98 percent of both teams defensive calls we're blitzes. something need to be reworked. the games results were very similar to the old engine. a lot of big plays and high scores.

running vs. a blitz should back fire more and the play overuse penalty should be stiffer. good luck in FA.

I didn't even realize until just now that I called two plays on defense a total of 44 times in that game. And still won. Must have been a lot of weird dice rolls. I just clicked through the "View Plays" buttons in gameplanning and it looks like there are a lot of plays with the same percentage chance of being called. Hmm.


I agree the penalty for play overuse should be more severe, but...

The problem with it being based solely on a single play is that for the most part it would not have negatively impacted my team this season.

There are enough blitz plays in most playbooks that you can call nothing else and still not get hit with the overuse penalty very often.

For example, prior to this last game the most "overused" play by me was called only 5.9 times per game, with the #2 play being called only 4.8 times per game. It drops off sharply after that. So, you can see that I was able to call 100% blitz plays all season while rarely ever getting hit with the overuse penalty.

Come on mattison. Get your facts right if your gonna make statements about my play calling. if you think blitzing was a reason why we were in the bowl then your wrong. Go look at the last couple drafts.

By the way I called 30 non blitz plays and they did better then my blitzes in the bowl. He ran all over my blitzes. If you want to figure out the biggest problem with the game then go look at stats. You will see that 300 yards rushing a game isnt exactly realistic.

i took a look and to me you called alot of blitzes in clear running situations. break it down if you want but that MLB blitz was called a lot. and war called that nickel blitz a lot. I did notice you called that QB spy once. to me 5here is a reason running is so effective. d alignment s and blitzes. Also block s are held a bit long. simple with no hate

ya i called blitzes because hes a running team. i should have called goal line every play and maybe i would have stopped him. out of 86 plays i called 56 blitzes. more then normal. gave up 51 points so why are we even discussing it like its still dominant.

why inst the players on teams talked about more then it is. war eagle built a solid team and he was overdue for a bowl. i have had two drafts and which i have landed 9-11 of my defensive starters in. also drafted a rb in the 4th rd two drafts ago who might have been MVP of the whole league and he is a 65.

I am pretty sure you lost cause you called that MLB blitz so often. it just didn't work cause his talent. that doesn't mean the engine works as it should. it's over powered on the run side and the blitz side. if he passed more you would have won? it doesn't matter cause blitzes would still be too effective. it's all about winning and losing with you. just take your ball and go home. as you have little To add to my points and are only concerned in furthering you own agenda. which is the blitz code is ok?
