Started the game against an extremely aggressive Detroit defense that we couldn't get anything going against. Then, the game engine illustrated why having an extremely unbalanced aggressive defense is not a good idea, as we started hot reading the blitzes and had several long TD's against them to easily run away with the game.
And Seattle's game ... holy cow!

I have no clue what happened in our game. We were 6-1 going against 0-7 Minnesota. I set up about a 60% run gameplan. We passed the whole game. Threw 4 INT.
21 runs, averaging 7.33 yards per rush.. 37 passes, 4 INT. No explanation for it. Very frustrating to throw so many passes when running the ball has been what got us to 6-1.

Another strong defensive effort from us as we cruise to a 31-10 win.
Jon...for the love of god, can you figure out why we're running inside so much still?

Turnovers were the story against Baltimore. When you turn the ball over 5 times its tough to win any game. The fact that I was still in it in the 4th qtr says a lot about my defense. However a very untimely turnover late in the 4th quarter is why this game was lost. Had to score a TD to win, and drove down the field over 85 yards. However the last gasp effort was not enough as time expired as we got the ball down to the 3 yard line.

Our QB continued his best impersonation of Mark Sanchez this week with another poor performance....bringing his season total of interceptions to 26 through just 8 games. He may have finally earned himself a bench spot. We are lucky to be 4-4 with 26 interceptions thrown. NED played well and won every aspect of this game.

3.5 INTs per game..sounds like bad coaching.

I have no idea what is going on with our team. I'm beginning to think that something is a bit wrong with the game engine. With our experienced QB we won 3 straight then lost a couple with no major changes to the gameplan he suddenly starts tossing INT s. Then lost a few more so I went with the Rookie QB and he tosses 5 INT's, this also without any major changes to the game plan. It just seems like there is too much change in the int's. losing is one thing, i can handle that but the way we are losing makes me question what might be going on, maybe my gameplan isn't being used? I don't know I have no data to really dispute it but WOW what a turn around.

The INT's do seem to be a little high now, let me dial it back a tad and see what happens in the next set of games.

Another issue I'm considering... don't know how accurate it may be, is the home field advantage. It seems to play a bigger part than I think it should. Week after week, I look down the list of games and the vast majority seem to be won by the home team.
