Kickoff returns at a all time high?

I have noticed in almost every league that kickoffs are far to easy. The way it was before was more realistic. Not only do I see them in multiple leagues but I have seen in three leagues since the new engine a team return a kick and the opposing team return it back to back.

Maybe this issue was already brought up but if not it's worth a look.

I posted before checking stats and after checking them.....

Last four years
2032 -34
2031 - 1
2030 - 19
2029 - 11

Rediculous. Their is five guys with four or more KO TDs

For anyone curious, the typical return rate for TDs in the NFL under the "new" KO rules is ~7 per season for the entire league:

Obviously with issues of parity MFN will never perfectly mirror NFL rates, and we should expect higher return rates, but just thought I'd add that context.

It's got to be a change he made in the new engine and if I had to guess what the problem is I would lean towards the blocking updates resulting in blocks being held more and longer.

If a change can be made to kickoff season without effecting anything else it should be an easy fix.

This is more then a problem when the NFL average is 1 every two weeks and in this league it's over two kickoffs returns per week.

I've heard others mention this, but I don't see it.

The entire season I had 0 kick or punt returns for or against me.

I wonder why this seems to be happening in all the other games except mine? What am I doing differently?

Are the teams giving up the most returns playing backups on special teams or something? Or worse, letting the Ai set the depth chart?

I have witnessed a rise in kickoff returns for TD's, also. Luckily, most of them have been from my team. I think what WarEagle says is accurate. I do believe owners are letting the AI set the depth chart. The change I have seen is the kick returner looks to be tackled 3-4 times and somehow breaks out of it. I rarely observed this before.

With that said, I've also noticed punt returns seem almost automatic. When the returner decides to run it back, it is around 8-10 yards almost every time.

I'd like to see more excitement on punt returns (not too much), and a little less on kick returns.
