This has to be one of the worst draft classes I've seen.
Even without obfuscation we're going to have players with max potential in the 70's as BPA while still in the first round.

My weights don’t have the top of the class quite that bad, but it’s not stellar. On the other hand, after browsing the later parts of the draft, I’m really digging the changes in generation. So many more interesting players in the 4/5/6 range. OL seems to be a big exception though. I’m still seeing a lot with low strength.
JDB, can you check that OL strength is generating the way you intended?

It looks like there are lower-rated OLs with high strength, which was the goal - obviously it's still random. Looking at the draft class it does look like the OL in general didn't get selected for high-rated players.

Very excited to see this draft class...as well as 87.

Just the generation of static ratings. With some imagination of how the technical ratings might pan out.
Still, I wondered if the same boost to late round volatility will be included in this draft? That could make it real exciting .

Yes, the late round volatility boost potential is included in this draft.
I haven't been saying much about draft classes, but I actually like the direction they are going. Reducing the number of 90+ overall players, and making owners really work the 2-4 rounds, will do a lot to improve competitiveness of the game overall. I think the bell curve of the draft is a lot better now than it was in the past.
