TEAM A
eg offering this contract will free up $Z million in cap room but will increase your dead cap by $X million for the next Y Years
TEAM B
accepting this contract will put your team $X Million over/under the salary cap for this year


If players are involved from both teams in the trade, then the cap implications should be included for both teams. With further warnings about cutting players if you're over the cap or roster numbers.


Too many teams get into a financial pickle because they don't understand the cap and it's implications.

Also if you offer a trade that takes you over the cap with a deadline looming can you have a preferred cut list - rather than relying on the AI to drop a key player out of nowhere
