Good luck with that one.
After being in cap **** on another team, and even with my Zona team when I first got it, it amazes me how different owners place value on a player., Sure , if Your #1 need is a ____ and the draft is thin or you're way down the draft, this is a good idea, but at any cost?

I had like 6 players retire on me and I have a lot of cap space so i need to be competitively aggressive or watch my team completely fall apart.
Is what it is

Yeah, Indy is gonna have one **** of a cap hit when he retires. I have plenty of cap space and no reason to sit on this money. I've never been to cap ****, even though I'm trying as best as I can to get there...

What is crazy to me, is this player wanted a 5 year deal with a bunch of bonus. I simply could not bring myself to take the risk, so I let him go into free agency. I hated to see the player go as he has done a great job in my secondary. I went ahead and offered the deal I felt he was worth given the risk of retirement he brings, and am surprised to see people offering way more than what he was originally requesting, given how likely it is he will retire in the next few seasons. The cap hit from the winning offer after he retires, probably will destroy the team that gets him for several seasons.

Out of curiosity what was the original offer?
Yep, if Indy gets both of those players I'm fairly sure it will destroy them, oh well :/

I pasted the wrong data for the second, I think one is a LB the other a CB. Just search top FAs, since this OP I've found more, lol talk about going for broke
