I haven't looked at either of your teams in depth, but you may be looking bad using Success Rate because of the type of offense you are running. Brian Burke mentions that offenses that tend to be high risk/high reward (i.e. passing deep a LOT) tend to not look so good in SR. SR counts a 76 yard TD pass as just one successful play. It's scored just the same as a 6 yard run on first and 10. High risk offenses may be very successful, but they aren't very consistent. SR is a measure of consistency. Hope that makes sense.

or maybe my teams are just **** lol

In the words of my favorite NCOIC, "It's probable, but highly unlikely".........

Nice work. And thanks for sharing. Could you briefly describe what you are doing to get the defensive #'s?

The defensive #'s are just a reflection of what the opponent offenses do. So, say it's first and 10, your opponent runs for 4 yards leaving 2nd and 6, your defense gets a success counted and your opponents offense gets a failure marked down.

Just added some defensive stats for anyone interested. There is Allowed Catches %, and Tackle % which need no explanation I don't believe. Then there is Success Count........ Success Count just counts positive actions minus negative actions. You can't really measure Success Rate per player on the defense, so Success Count is used. You can find a much better explanation over at Brian Burkes site. I think it's pretty good at pointing out who the studs and duds are on the defensive side of the ball. I think you need to compare DL vs DL, LB vs LB, etc though.....

Let me know what you guys think!

Updated for Week 12, except for Defensive Success Count. Success Count on Defense is sort of tedious and time consuming, so I will probably only update that stat when I have time to spare.

Enjoy!
