Vets are looking good at the moment I just had seven guys retire 5 of them with less than 30% Prob. including a 90+ LT not the start to free agency I was hoping for

Vet competition is a bit more competitive than I thought. I'm gonna have to step up my offers, especially with oakbark driving up the costs. Good luck to New York's 2026 cap space.

Whats the point in offering a player with say a 30% chance of retirement mega bucks over 4 years, dude will be wearing bordies in Miami by then

My 50p view,

BONKERS!

From someone on another post on the forum stating not to offer him "silly trades" (oakbark) ,with NY in this league, he signs a 15 year vet with a SEVENTY % chance of retiring, a 5 year $22.3 million contract!!!

RIDICULOUS.

All teams have too much Cap space right now.

If this was real money (their own) these trades wouldn't happen...my 41p's worth

I made some silly contracts a few seasons ago to get a Championship and it worked but it put me in cap **** for a couple of seasons. I come into this season totally fixing all my contracts to more team friendly and have over 70 mil for FA (100 mil counting draft) and they are all old..lol.

Clearly the model works, I can't blame owners for trying to replicate it.
