DENVER – The Green Bay football team suffered a 24-0 defeat at the hands of the undefeated Denver squad in Week 11 of the 2078 regular season, continuing their losing streak to four games. Denver, now 10-0 for the season, maintained their position at the top of the division standings, while Green Bay fell to 3-7.

Denver drew first blood early in the second quarter with a 16-yard touchdown rush by running back Michael Jacques. The successful extra point by Scott Hutchinson put Denver ahead 7-0 with 14:57 remaining in the quarter.

The home team's offense then expanded the lead shortly thereafter. Joshua Pursel threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to Michael Lonon at the 11:03 mark of the second quarter. Hutchinson's extra point was good once again, increasing Denver's lead to 14-0.

Denver added a field goal from Hutchinson from 53 yards out with 6:58 left in the second quarter. The kick extended Denver's advantage to 17-0. The team closed the scoring in the fourth quarter with a touchdown run by Jacques, cementing a 24-0 shutout.

Defensively, Denver applied significant pressure on Green Bay, totaling eight sacks. Dwight Hall led the pass rush with one sack and a forced fumble. Green Bay registered two sacks on the day, with Lyle Gleason recording a sack and a forced fumble. Both teams managed one interception.

Green Bay's offensive production was limited. Quarterback Rodger Streetman completed 10 of 24 passes for 57 yards and a single interception. The ground game was ineffective, with 16 rushing attempts yielding no yards. Green Bay did not record any third down conversions or visit the red zone.

Denver quarterback Joshua Pursel completed 28 of 37 passes for 261 yards and one touchdown, alongside 26 rushing yards. Wide receivers Michael Lonon and Harrison Ward posted 95 and 67 receiving yards, respectively.

Green Bay's special teams exhibited multiple punts which were fair-caught by Denver's Harold Flores throughout the game. Penalties were a factor, with Denver committing seven penalties for 60 yards and Green Bay three for 25 yards.

Coach Bernard Jones’ team struggled to sustain drives and capitalize on opportunities, as Denver’s defense repeatedly forced turnovers, including two forced fumbles recovered by Green Bay but not exploited offensively.

This loss leaves the Packers still fighting to improve their record as they approach the final stretch of the season. Denver, meanwhile, continues to dominate its division, holding a perfect 3-0 record within its group.
