Players with -1 before drafted

Sometimes players in the draft have a -1 potential before they are even drafted. Is there any correlation between this -1 rating and how they will probably develop after drafted? Is it best to stay away from players that are already dropping before the draft?

No correlation from what I've seen.

It's just a rounding error in the calculation, it's not an indication of any real movement.
