Offense?

Haven't signed up for a team quite yet, but looking through stats in some of the open leagues it seems like the numbers for rushing (YPC in particular) are far from realistic. Completion percentages for QBs seems somewhat depressed as well. Is this WAD, a fluke, or something that's simply a symptom of being a relatively new engine and is on the list to be addressed? Look forward to playing and really like the fact that the owner/coder seems to be heavily involved and enthused. Thanks.

#3 - this is a symptom of a relatively new engine and is being actively addressed. It's kind of a pendulum swing, if you look at historical stats especially in the more established leagues like MFN-1 and MFN-2, you'll see past seasons where the running and passing games are too successful. The current version of the game engine is too aggressive on the defensive side, and the current development engine is in the process of fixing that. All leagues with the exception of MFN-1 will not change their game engine until the end of their respective seasons, so you don't have to worry about a patch breaking your game plan because it addresses an issue that you are avoiding.

Until you see a "1.x" in the game engine version number, I don't consider all the issues to be addressed to my satisfaction. That said, I'm also relying on players like you to help identify issues and drive the priority of items to be fixed, so your feedback is valued. Hope you grab a team and I look forward to your feedback!
