I thought about it .. I guess I can't grasp the designate for the pros concept.

Its just a fun twist for the league. Just an extra strategy to think about. Something that would happen in real world minor league football. It's just like minor league baseball with less ups and downs. I am sure it will be adjusted and modified as we play with it.
