Passing game in the new sim

Maybe it's just me, but even with 100 accuracy guys the ints seem really high and the completion percentage really low, not to mention that despite this the yards per attempt and total yardage seems quite high still. I'm putting up huge yardage numbers but I'm not really finding the passing game to be an improvement on the old sim.

It's the same base code with a few tweaks . My 100 FOV still throws to covered receiver while opened ones are ignored . The best defenses blitz over 80 percent of the time. The only difference is the 100 percenters need a certain type of coach .

Guys have found and way to play that blitz game under this code also. Everything you describe are numbers you get while under pressure .

Look at some of the big games scores....just like the old engine ..... 54 to 38 or something like that.

The worst part is the same defensive approach is the best way to stop the run.....not to mention that's QBS could just scramble but they dont.

The major difference I see between your QBs in 17 is as follows:

Ashlock
67 Arm
72 Release
60/77 Look Off

Merritt
97 Arm
97 Release
71 Look Off

Meritt had a much better completion percentage (although it could also be because of garbage time) because it looks like he can make faster decisions, throw the ball faster (and farther if that matters), and look off the DB more easily.

In 24, your QB has low scramble.

And in all three leagues, it looks like you are favoring medium passes over short ones judging by the YPC numbers, especially for the TEs. If you are, you should be thrilled you are completing 50% of your passes consistently since distance penalties rack up quickly.

Merrit was out for like 10 weeks with an injury so I was forced to play Ashlock for a while. I liked the way he was playing for the majority of the season so I kept him in.
