Hopefully the beta testers didn't miss any big obvious stuff like 80% completion rates this time...

Is there any reason sacks now average -10 or even more?!

Probably because QBs are staying in the pocket longer. I haven't seen a lot of sacks though. Which league?

Here is an example: https://mfn7.myfootballnow.com/box/7286
Each team took huge sack losses on every one of them...13 in all for minus 134 yards!!!

Your RT is a revolving door, and the other teams RT has the strength of a WR. Those 2 account for half the sacks. I think that's a big part of the problem in this particular game.

My question relates to why sacks would average over minus 10 per ?

It's 0.4.4 code so the QB is taking forever to make a decision and drifting farther and farther back in the pocket. This is largely fixed in 4.5.

OK, thank you that answers my question perfectly :-)

It's very early, we are only two preseason games into the 0.4.5 release, but I am very disappointed with it so far. Offense has taken another huge hit. Completion percentage was way too high in 0.4.4, and yards per completion way too low. The percentage issue has been fixed, but yards per completion I'm finding hasn't gone anywhere, which leads to absolutely abysmal yards per attempt numbers. After looking through most of the 32 games that have been played so far, without actually doing the calculations, my guess for the yards per game average per team is about 250 (I would do the calculations if there were a reasonable way to find preseason team stats). This is way too low. My defense has allowed 114 yards per game so far in these two games, and I'm not even happy with my defensive roster. I have one decent LB and zero decent Safetys. Granted, we haven't played very good teams, but on the other side, my offense has gone from leading the league with 415 yards per game last season, to struggling to 290 yards per game against two bad teams. Unlike my defense, I feel like my offense is better than we were last season, but we sure as heck haven't shown it under this new code. I've made some pretty major adjustments for game 3 tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes, and hopefully as teams adjust game plans, maybe offense will improve.

Update: After the big game plan changes I made, my offense is performing far more like I had expected. Overall, the offensive numbers do look a little low throughout the league, but I think at least some of that can be fixed as people adjust.

Is there a 0.4.6 coming soon that might make this game fun again? In Rivals we've got two teams averaging around five points a game. Even 1977 Tampa Bay did better than that, averaging just over seven points a game, which was an amazing accomplishment(?) in futility.
