Agreed - it's actually already in the queue. There are a number of features I want to add in the game viewer like this that will give you a lot more information than you currently have access to.

A couple of observations JDB. Screen passes..... not sure about every one else but it appears to me they are all but useless. One play in our recent game showed the QB roll out, the pursuit and O-line chased to the sideline, QB avoided them and rolled towards the other sideline before throwing back into the crowd trying to complete the screen.

4th down logic. We had one instance where there was around 10 minutes on the clock and we were down by 10 then with 4th and 16 in OUR redzone we went for it. Gave the ball up leading to a TD. Then the rest of the game we punted...... even with time running down close to mid-field and needing about a yard. Why the one off the wall 4th down play I am not sure.

On the 4th down logic, I think you might have your hurry up settings too high. The default value is 3 minutes per score, I see that your setting is quite a bit higher than that. What happened is that you went into hurry up, which will always go for it on 4th down unless you are more than 14 points behind (to prevent what did happen on your 4th down from happening when the game is not really close enough to justify going for it on every 4th down). So you went for it on 4th down when you switched to hurry up being down by 10, but every 4th down beyond this you were down by 17 and so you executed the hurry up gameplan without going for it on 4th down.

3-8-PIT 43 (11:58) 49-Ramon Shankle ran to PIT 35 for 9 yards. Tackle by 32-Brandon Lopez.

if i see this right. 3 and 8 we run for 9 yards then we kick a fg on next play. should be a first down?

Nice. Say it is 3rd and 8 1/2, but it just says 3rd and 8. You run for 8 1/2, but for stats purposes you get 9 yards. You come up inches short.

That's my guess :)

It must have been really close ... the game engine actually tracks everything as floating point values, so the numbers that get into the play-by-play are rounded for display purposes. Occasionally you're probably going to see rounding errors that do what you had happen on this play. What actually happened on the field would have been short by probably the nose of the ball. I'll have to look and see if I can figure out why it showed 3rd and 8 instead of 3rd and 9.

Zoot's gonna know more about how the game works than I do pretty soon :-)
