UPDATE: Play Cards

On the game log you will now see the offensive and defensive plays that were called, with a link to the play card. The play card shows you some information about the play as well as some usage statistics for your team.

Very nice. Also, I see that by clicking on the play you will see the name of the play as it is in your playbook

First, I want to say I love the play cards.

What I would like to see is to have the play cards incorporated into the replay. Right now, it's hard to watch the game and keep up with what play is being run, etc. etc. So, here is how I would like to see 'Watch the game'

1) You can set a default setting for zoom. I like to zoom out and see the whole play, not just the ball... where receivers are running, etc.
2) A link to each play card (or at least your team's play), maybe the link can be right above the team name on either side of the play, where stats are.
3) Only show one play at a time. Right now, the replay just keeps going from one play to the next. You can't go back and forth in a particular play, and you have to keep stopping it. If you can have it so there is a button to press that allows you to go to the next play, that would be great. So, basically, it will stay on that play until you press 'Next Play'. Then, you can click the links to look at the plays that are being used for this play, and watch the play once or several times to get a feel for the play. I especially like to try to figure out the QB progression on plays... I many times see a player wide open every time on a specific play, but the QB never throws to him... understanding the play allows me to know how best to use that play, or even if I should use it at all.

All this allows you to understand the game better. You can watch play by play, and have all the information on one page, rather than jumping back and forth between the replay and game log. and you have time to study each play rather than jumping quickly from play to play. Basically, you can watch a play, click on the play card(s) to know what play(s) you are watching, and then understand what's happening in each play.

For those that don't want all this information, they can have a checkbox saying automatically go to next play, so it will flow as it currently does for those players. This allows those that want to study the plays to do so and those who just like to watch the game to do so.

This one actually is already there - under "time between plays" one of the options is "pause."
