When will MFN correct where we kick extra points from?

In short, it is a trial for the 2015 NFL season. In the likely event that they keep it, it will be brought into the engine here, but because they are officially calling it a 'one-year trial' and not a permanent rule change, I am holding off on making changes here.

Okay, well trust me the NFL doesn't do "one year trials" this rule is here to stay. It got voted on unanimously by 32 owners, for it change it again it would have to be unanimously voted on again. I would add it honestly.

It was actually 30-2, but you are probably correct in that it's here to stay. Probably unless there is talk after the first part of the season that it is failing I may introduce it sooner rather than later. I also want to observe a bit how it plays out in real games.

They ran their trial for this rule last year during preseason, this is the new NFL...

Not disagreeing that it will probably stick, but it may change to something else completely next year. There were 2-3 other proposals on the table.

I really hate the new system. It's absolutely absurd. If they wanted to encourage 2 point conversions, they should place the extra point attempt from the 1 yard line to make runs viable.

Yeah, I think the current NFL average hovers around 50% for converting the 2 point attempt. So there's almost no incentive to go for two.
