I blitz a lot but that is because that is what I want to do. I have been punished for blitzing to much by certain players here. not gonna mention any by name though. I don't know anything about the coding I just love and know a little football. I run a lot of blitz's also so that I can get those plays more developed and as I get better at those plays I adjust my scheme. I cannot recall sacking anybody 25 times. however in a few games against punisher and a couple of others we have combined for 25 sacks in a game or close to it.

I have 2 Teams (and Drafting a 3rd).

One is a Defense Focused (Ground and Pound O) All Blitz... but then I Drafted/Traded for the Top 3 LBs in a Class and moved one to DE... along with taking over a fairly good D before I added those 3 guys. It's their 3rd Season together, and they are getting about 9.0 Sacks a Game.

My other Team is an Offensive Focused (All Pass O) that is All Zone.

I'm thinking this 3rd Team will be an Offensive Focused (All Run) Mixed D.

Normally I 'theme' my Teams and try to build and game plan based off that. So I absolutely have a Team where Every Play is a Blitz... but going over my Play Chart it seems I send a Variety of Blitzes. It's the complete opposite for my Zone Team which used one play about 80% of the time (despite me having 30 Defensive Plays in the book).

Of course no one complains about some one spamming a Zone they constantly shred.

But ppl will complain about their own zone defense getting shredded. Either way, it acknowledges the need for the defensive inconsistencies to be addressed. Which they are.
