Season 2 is finished. Three teams available for the new season. Free Agency one has it's turnspin on Monday. Below is a link to the end of season Power Rankings, Player Stats, including Post Season. It also includes a Cheat Sheet for Free Agency and the Draft Class, where the top 100 or so prospects have been renamed.

I am open to teams being moved in the off-season, on the proviso that they stay within the 'Animal' theme and stay within the Division theme (eg a type of Dog in the Dogs division.)

TEAMS

LIMA LYNX: https://beasts.myfootballnow.com/team/1

Expectations are low following a 3-13 season as the team lost it's owner mid season after a promising 7-9 in the inaugural season. Of course with a poor campaign, comes a high draft pick (1.5, 2.4 and 3.3). Having failed to sign up it's vets, currently only 22 players are signed up for season three, so there is plenty of cap room for a rebuild as well the opportunity to trade down from those high picks.

ROCKHAMPTON TAIPANS https://beasts.myfootballnow.com/team/27

The #1 pick in the '03 draft goes to Rockhampton Taipans. A 1-15 season on the back of a 4-12 opener leaves the team with plenty to find. On the plus side, they have all 53 players signed up but need some serious cap massaging as they are somehow $32M overspent.

Certainly an interesting proposition with such high draft capital, trade down, trade back a year or two, cut or trade existing players for future picks or just restructure contracts. Should be a fun project.

KINTYRE LEAPING SALMON: https://beasts.myfootballnow.com/team/24

Alternatively, take on a project where most everything is in place. After a solid 6-10 opening effort the Flying Fish took a Wild Card last season with an 8-6-2 record. The team are all signed up, with $0 dead cap and $21M in cash to spend on free agents and/or draft picks. The 1.25 pick is reward for a strong season, in a Division that includes the current 'King of the Beasts'
