Voodoo Math Behind Position Experience and Physical Weight

What's the voodoo math behind how position experience and a player's physical weight affect their overall?

Let's take this player: https://private75.myfootballnow.com/player/3061

In my weights, this player should have an overall of 74, but the game lists him at 71. The only two things I could see that could affect his overall would be his position experience of 50 and his physical weight which is 7% over norm for a RB. How do those contribute to a 3 overall difference?

(To determine what his overall should be I plugged him into a spreadsheet I created to determine how to set my weights if I wanted a minimum value at a specific attribute - Speed, Courage, etc. - if a player's other core attributes were 100. Why? I like spreadsheets.)

Dont now the math but he is one of those guys that overall will grow as weight trends. The guy is always that good and will be unless he gets a bad roll at camp. It is just as 15 pounds might be divide by 5 . Making 3 his voodoo number?

A 200lb DT after ten years might hit 300 pounds. 100 pound difference divided by 5 would enable that guy to gain an imaginary 20 points in overall.

This is a manpulation of numbers. If position minimums are high in ratings that are static. This effect will be lower, because the nonstatic rating are postion specific.

Also on default, the weighting system has many value points. Ones depreciated in comparison when low values are entered or none at all.

The default setting for the power of weight(in pounds) relative to the postion is enhanced. Allowing minimum users like you and me, Ones whos numbers out of a possible are lower in gerneral, even though we go about it slightly different get to see these good conversions.

Perhaps that is the voodoo number. One we soon will have control over for each position if i understand JDB correctly, when he referenced this future feature in some threads
