Getting the ball thrown to your TE

So I have two amazing TEs but no matter what plays I choose it is hard to get the system to make them the #1 priority to throw to. So they usually both walk away with one or two looks their way.

Any suggestions how to increase this?

I'm in the same situation.

My TE2 (Alderman) has regressed a lot, especially his speed, the past season, but the main thing I did was make sure the TE almost always had a route to run and didn't block on passing plays.

I work exclusively out of the 113, 122, 203 and 212 utilizing at least one of each type of play, so people can't just line up one kind of defense to stop my offense. It's worked well so far.

I don't know if there's anything else really.

Use over-rides to put them out as WRs. That's what I did with one of my teams.

On the TE questions: When is a TE too slow?

I've considered getting this guy to retire as an OL guy.

If it were my team, I would put him on the line. Unless I don't have a viable alternative at TE. But he's got the strength and blocking skills to make it on the line.

I would play him as your TE2. He's slow but he has perfect route and B&R. He should still get open, he's just not going to run away from anyone.

Thanks!

I've kept him at TE. It's just frustratingly easy to see on his numbers, that speed actually effects TE play a good bit. He used to have around 80 speed in his first season, then started declining (a bit earlier than I anticipated).
