Injuries and overides

If you have a player that you have starting on an override, and he is injured and deactivated for next game, does he still start in that position? I'm pretty sure he doesn't, but I think I have seen this happen before.

It should be the default depth chart option moving into the override, but if you want somebody else specifically I would suggest adjusting said override. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a player manually deactivated actually play…

I have a follow up.
Eg: I have 5 wr - #1-5.
I have those wr's in my depth chart highest rating to lowest.
I use over rides for "any" receiver, but let's just call him receiver #1.
He's assigned as the #1 in my depth chartrt and as the #1 target in all my pass plays.
He gets injured.
Which receiver in my depth chart replaces him?
I assume it's wr# 4 or 5.

Follow up: what if my #2 depth wr is also assigned overrides - #3 etc?

I guess I want to know the replacement progression both with and without overs in relation to actual depth chart placement.
Wr is the example for any position.

Hope I was clear enough.

Next man up I’ve understood.

WR1 injured and WR2/3 overridden means WR4 would play as WR1. Or WR5 is possible if fatigue etc

If NO overrides, does #2 replace 1, #3 replace 2 and on down the line?
