St Louis Cardinals

So being from NE and hearing for months the Patriots get slammed by every news market in the country and some outside the country over ball deflation makes me wonder where are all those news markets who had already made guilty judgements before a investigation has been done and even since an investigation has been done that shows none whatsever wrong doing by the Patriots. How come they are not all over what seems to me to be a Federal Offense by a Baseball team. This is 100x the the offense that the Patriots have been accused of. This is something that technically could be penalized with jail time.

You keep trying to find things worse than what the Patriots have done, we all know what they have done, finding other teams that have done bad things and even now in other sports is clutching at straws.

No, thats not what I am saying at all. I was just wondering where those same news outlets that kept reporting and accusing the Patriots of wrong doing over air pressure on a football are at now and not all over this news story which is far more detrimental to any integrity of the game issues.

I am glad you know what the Patriots have done tho. You must have some first hand knowledge that 2 research investigations now have found no evidence of involvement at all by the Patriots or players that they deflated any *****. Just a probability of opinion.

You know my thoughts on the Pats and where praise is due, they get it in spades. But over the years they have constantly pushed the boundaries and IMO in some cases have gotten away with things lightly. (done this topic to death in another forum site).

Right now the Pats are the flavor of the month with some hacks and there to be shot at. I really do hope that the whole Brady thing does go to court, so one way or the other this whole debacle gets sorted out.

It will go to court if Goodell doesnt totally lift all games and exonerate him. I am sure Goodell doesnt want this case to be seen by a court of law because he doesnt have the same rules applied for the probability case. Cant be any reasonable doubt in court.

I still would like to hear tho on what occasions have the Patriots got off lightly? In the past 20 years I believe they are the only team to lose 1st round draft choices and this will make the 3rd time now. How have they gotten off lightly?

hey this is honestly a question. Being in Australia I miss a lot of the latest news. Is it still the case that they busted one of the equipment officers taking the ***** into the toilets? If that is still the case then the deflation itself being the fault of the patriots is not probable it is true. The probable part was that Brady knew about it and had a hand in it. Once again as much as i listen to podcasts, watch ESPN and listen to a few radio channels in America, I do miss some news so may be wrong on what the facts are at the moment.

As I've said before, this whole thing is a weighty issue and I really don't want to get into this again, But now Goodell has made such a hash of things I'm sure we'll get to hear SOME of whats gone on.
Hopefully this will be the end of Goodell.

The whole Wells report (to me) looks like someones written it without trying to be litigious, ha ha but the US being the US will THRASH this is out in court anyway, Mr Wells better buckle up. The fallout from this could be massive.

Its on film that he went into the restroom with the footballs, nobody is denying that but also what wasnt said in most articles is that the officials locker room where the ***** were measured was packed with people even out into the hallways. He walked past numerous NFL officials into the bathroom so he wasnt trying to sneak into it. The guy may have just had to pee like any normal person and wouldnt have had another chance until half time. Its all circumstantial.
