My baseball now?

Here's an idea, maybe a baseball management simulation similar to MFN. As a fan of baseball, I would LOVE to own my own team, but the only "good" simulator I could find is Dynasty League Baseball, and it's a mess to use. It is NOTHING like MFN, the interface sucks, and $14 per month to be involved, with a 2 day trial, during that time, there is NOTHING to see. I would love to see a "My Baseball Now" game, and if it maintained the interface of MFN, I could see it taking off like MFN. (Unless there is one that I haven't found yet. If so, please let me know.)

Hardball Dynasty on WhatIfSports.com. Played a few seasons. I would recommend it if you like a deep immersion type of game and don't mind devoting the (considerable) time to get good at it. The time element isn't really all that daunting once you get past the setup stage. Do get into a league that is almost full, since the leagues don't spin until they have 32 teams.

It's hard to beat OOTP in text baseball category. But a lot of leagues like to require an upgrade every couple of years. So you'd have to find a league that plans on staying with whatever version they are using before you buy. Usually a league on an older version. I think you can get older OOTP versions fairly cheap.

Now this isn't the text variety but I just picked up a game called Super Mega Baseball 2 for PC and am having a blast with it. I haven't played online yet an know nothing about how their leagues work. But I've been playing my own season and it's very addicting. It has a lil bit of a cartoony look to it, which i like anyways.

BrokenBat is quite good if you don't mind the promotion/relegation pyramid.
