You either accept that you're deep in your own and run the clock out heading into the locker room.
OR you make an attempt to claw back some points via a FG or maybe even a TD, but then what we have here is ..

- 1st down Run for a loss of 2 yds (2nd and 12)

- 2nd down Pass for 3yds (3rd and 9)

- 3rd down Deep pass (incomplete)

- 4th down...we now go for it on our own 26 yd line with 11 ticks on the clock, this isn't the 4th qtr for the game, but to end the 2nd qtr.

Oh then we lost the game because we didn't want to try a FG to force OT. Before anyone asks, my setting for this game was a max yardage FG of 53 yds.
Is anyone else loosing games in this way as well or am I just really unlucky to have HC that is an 8 year old madden player?

I cant say I have lost games like that because if I did I probably just wave the white flag and just fire the head coach and cut my losses with the madness he is doing.

this may just be me but wish in the rules or somewhere we could have a OVERRIDE thingy where we can override what the coach or coorinadtaor is doing so we don't have to pull our hair out of our heads over what stupid things they do.
