9 play -76 yard drive by Minnesota???

Fake Pigskin league - Minnesota at Chicago - Week 8 game

Minnesota's drive chart shows a 9 play -76 yard drive late in the 2nd quarter that resulted in a touchdown. But Minnesota was shut out for the entire game. Also, there were no fumbles or interceptions returned for a touchdown.

There was an interception thrown by Chicago that the Minnesota player proceeded to fumble back to Chicago during the same play. It appears the next several plays were recorded as a Minnesota drive even though Chicago was on offense and finished the drive scoring a touchdown.

I've seen this many times before, I think turnovers cause some sort of drive chart glitch.

No lie, I watched the whole game trying to figure it out. I didnt think about glitches having an affect on certain data, I was confused for sure.

that drive didnt have a turnover on it though it did have a PUNT that went for NEGATIVE 2 yards which i linked the 9 play drive and it was the link that 9 play finishes at.

1-10-CHI 20 (4:12) 16-Juan Dixon pass INTERCEPTED by 46-Michael Smith at CHI 26. 46-Michael Smith to CHI 22 for 4 yards. 46-Michael Smith FUMBLES (78-James Gifford) recovered by CHI-78-James Gifford at CHI 24. Tackle by 46-Michael Smith

This play here was the start of the drive for -76 yards in the scoring summary . Something like the 4 yards tallied on the intercepted pass , on this play, we're subtracted wrong some where in the calculations . As 80-4 is 76, but if it's read somewhere like -80 +4 you'll get -76. Like the switching of possessions confused the formulas?

Under the scoring summary it's says the drive started at the 24 yard line when clearly , before the interception/ fumble , it starts at the 20 after the punt for touchback. So something if off for that calculation as well.

Definitely a bug , but it's a display bug, that I think has been tweaked in the past to accurately tally the ints and fumbles and yards for the players involved . As I remember that being buggy in the past.

This is probably an area in the code involved in those multiple turnovers on one possession that causes stats to be mis read some where.
