I tried to sign him as my Offensive Coordinator in 2023 Free Agency 1. No other Teams put in a bid for him and he rejected the only contract he was offered. Money was available for him to sign. Now he's with another team in FA week 2...
Can someone let me know what happened?

Two things and I'm sure you cleared both.

a) was the contract for at least $1 more than the previous one?
b) you didn't make an error allocating money just over what you had to spend, went into the red and it prevented this signing?

Otherwise, like Jeff Probst to the challenge losing team on Survivor...."I got nothing for you!"

He was signed for more money yes, but less money than the OC at the time. This left me with enough money to do so.
I'm under the impression I won't get a response to this question.
For now on I'll just wonder wth happened and move on..thanks for the help, I guess.

Sorry. I don't know the inner workings of coach signings. I truly don't put much focus in it so that was all I could come up with. :(
