So we aren't able to upload something? Just use basic color schemes? If it's the latter, my guess is this is to protect the site from copyright claims?
Once you take over a team, you have the following customization options:
Team Name (e.g. Seahawks)
Team City
Team Stadium
Team Colors - Allows you to pick 3 colors and assign them to various uniform pieces, plus if you choose a generic team image, it will use those 3 colors for it.
Team Image - If you want to upload your own team image.
Unlock Country - USA cities are available by default, but you can unlock other countries
