Ok, I have been thinking about asking about this for a long while but didn't want to repeat something that seems obvious.

Can we get more stats, awards, records. I think these can be invaluable in maintaining and enhancing interest, I know it would for me.

First off, records.

Can there be a master listing of all time records of users, wins, losses, playoff appearances, div titles, conf titles, league titles, win percentage (reg and post) and while we are at it, perhaps it could also include the total number of...

... League individual award winners, pro bowl players, all-rookie team
MVP, OPOY, DPOY, OROY, DROY, Have a Favre Trophy, Jim Brown Trophy, (Rice, Winslow, Hannah, Greene, Butkus, Sanders trophies, ALL Pro team, pro bowl rosters, ALL ROOKIE TEAM (guys you drafted!!!!)

This sounds like a ton of work right... I have to believe it isn't really.

The records is simply a database table without any calculation except sums across leagues and percentages.

The awards are a simple formula, can be whatever JDB decides, **** it doesn't even have to be fair! (lead to awesome controversies)

It would also assign a bit more 'character' to all the users you see post here, ...

It just seems like a very direct, VERY low dev time/cpu memory allocation that can reward the game and its users immensely.

So endeth the suggestion-rant.

to add what i would like to see is a all time record of one user going up against another user for the regular season and have one for the playoffs too.

like for example
punisher 10-0 against blackflys in regular season
punisher 0-5 against blackflys in post season

also to add it would be nice to have like a record of the worst team and best team each user has had
also maybe have like a record of which user lost the conference title or super bowl title to another user

like for example
25 times War Eagle has beaten lellow for conference title
10 times War eagle has beaten lellow for super bowl title

though maybe having a record of who has lost in the conference or super bowl to a certain user isnt important though i still say a record of what each user has doing another each other in the regular season and the playoffs and have a record of each user's worst team and best team would probably would be the best ideas i have posted in this message.

This is something that would be a huge asset to the game. Realistically the only thing is power rankings which are highly in accurate. For the records of owners and history first it needs to be fixed because it's not accurate if you click on users in leagues and look at there overall league record.
One thing I would like before any of this and I know it's been said but adding more category's to individual and team stats.

Some examples-
Individual stats
Offense- WRs ***** thrown/catch (also be nice to know what # WR they are and break there numbers down for what one they line up at)
Rbs- tackled for loss, broken tackles,
Db's - good cover ( such as a pass given up but only 3 yards or less gained.
Defense - Run stops , hurries , tackles for loss

I would like to hear what jdb has to say about the difficulty and time it would take to make any of these possible. I know that he has a lot on his plate and has done a incredible job but for any changes to be made it has to be well known and brought to his attention.

Just a note, the #1 WR in the depth chart doesn't have to always lineup as WR1.

I have mine in the slot on some formations, and sometimes I have my best WR 2nd in the depth chart for some reason I can't remember right now.

That's what I mean. I have mine so mixed up its confusing. To get a reading on what one a WR lines up at and the stats for for each one would be a sweet way for owners to take another gameplanning feature into account.

Not the position on the depth chart but the actual one on each play if the overrides are changed.

Reed 36 catches 65 targets total
WR 1 22 catches 37 targets
Wr2 8 catches 21 targets
WR 3 6 catches 7 targets

Making this happen might be far fetched but it would also help for a lot of positions ecspecially DBs. If you were able to see what your guys do at each of the DB positions it could change a lot of tHe ways players are viewed

JDB... I know you might be quietly considering, but am I correct that relatively speaking a stats enhancement similar to what I suggest is not too onerous a development?

The stuff you mention absolutely is on the table (and has been for a long time) - I do plan to have awards like offensive player of the week, all-time team, etc. It will add a lot to the game. It's just secondary to the issues that are more pressing.

Why did QB and RB stats plummet? No other positions - that I have noticed - declined, but before the last game, QBs and RBs in my league experienced a precipitous drop in Overalls.
