Wow, we need this owner in MFN-1. I'm actually quite curious to see what the 0.4.1 engine does with his game plan.

I ran my pass 90 system in MFN-1 last season.

I can set up an Air Coryell system for next season if you want me to.

Go for it. I would love for any exploit-style tactics to be used in MFN-1 because it gives me an opportunity to directly work to fix them.

For what it's worth, my pass 90 system produced a QB that threw 7400 yards with a 5:1 TD:INT ratio (65:13). That's with only throwing the ball for the first three quarters of most games.

In that case why not make another league for the beta engine and try to make sure that the owner spacehorse is in it??

btw i think he is only doing in MFN 6 with Seattle because he is also in MFN 2 with Arizona and he has yet to do those 100 scores in that league.

wouldnt it be better for you (JDB) to copy SPACEHORSES playbook then give it to Setherick?

Because only way it would work is if Setherick put every play Spacehorse had in that 113-7 beating in his playbook which he would have to find a playbook with all those plays to be able to duplicate that beating or at least see what happens when it is put in a game in MFN 1 or even Beta 87.

No because I can make a more effective medium-long passing system.

For whats its worse.. Im Arizona in mfn-6.. pretty good defense!.. he lit me up for 77 points.. i did my best to plan for it.. i knew what was coming..went mostly all coverage with a few blitzes..still got me for quite a bit.. no stopping that train!

As Setherick previously said, perhaps a heavy-blitz-on-every-play gameplan would have done it ? Coverage is to vulnerable, i think.

I just want to say that I don't have an issue with the scores being put up by this user. Lopsided scores are going to happen, though usually not to this extreme.

My issue is with the gameplan being used. You shouldn't be able to win a game with playcalling like this.

Definitely this. Blowouts happen all the time. Huge blowouts happen occasionally too.

It's the gameplan that's ridiculous

But, back to one of my previous points, I was able to put up 80 points twice in what is supposed to be the best league on MFN. And that was using a game plan that used something like 35 plays per game on average and, while it was more heavily slanted to the pass than most NFL teams, was not that far off of the NFL leaders in run/pass percentage. The problem is that it's really easy to exploit pass defenses when your opponent doesn't have enough DBs to keep their players rested.

I'm going to put together an Air Coryell system for MFN-1 and Beta-87 this next season to test whether or not the passing defensive changes make a bigger difference. I may also put together Air Coryell for MFN-1 and an Air Raid offense in 87.

Yeah nobody would put a junk cb to cover an elite wr when An elite CB is on the roster on 3 and 17. Here that's a deep bomb completion or a short catch and run. In 75 I run 97 stamina for dbs. My are not the best, but this is to hope my best guys are on there best guys. Man coverage and zone coverage should have different fatigue ratings , but I am not sure if that is the case.

On another note perhaps it is finally time to take a look are stamia/fatigue levels. This one has baffled me since the beginning. My 87 speed cb misses a tackle and cannot run down a 73 speed TE. I don't think so, the stamia hit for missing a tackle is too large. Perhaps all stamia hits are, but why can a wr get 5000 all purpose yards in one season. Without getting worn down. Wr/ dB is one of the most is nursed positions.

To me it seems injuries should be higher for the guys who run more distances (cover more ground) in any given game/ season.

If you can do that with a legitimate gameplay and by taking advantage of the passing team's roster deficiencies that's different. That doesn't bother me.
