WarEagle is correct. The actual 'speed' and 'acceleration' values in the engine itself are not changing; the only thing that's changing is that it is being presented to you in a more understandable way, where you can now compare players' actual speed and acceleration more accurately.

I'm just a player/owner that is attempting to put together the best team available using the best athletes available. However, I now have no idea what now qualifies as a good athlete or what position is now most important. No matter what attribute I put in, I get Punters, Kickers, Fullbacks, and Tightends as the most important player.

Just as a nobody like myself starts getting a grasp on how to be successful, because some Whiney crybaby who can't win by hacking his Madden style type of overuse of botting 2-3 plays, we have to change the program. And because of a Whiner being successful while using his illegal style, he gets heard the most while true players who are attempting to adjust gets the "never-existed" File.

The game isn't really changing with this sim, it's just displaying info in a more user friendly way. Instead of having to guess how fast an oline player is compared to a linebacker guessing based on their speeds and weights, one simple answer as speed will be displayed. I personally love this! Now it's really easy to pick out who's faster than who

Great additions. Question here, will we have a priority list when we want to grab two or more waiver wire?

We talked about this on the last episode of MFN Tonight - I will plan to add this at some point.

If you are the only one who has made the claim, you'll get all of them. This only comes into play when there are multiple players with multiple claims, it will spread the results out a bit more instead of one team getting all the players and the other getting none.

Nothing has changed in terms of how it works. Thats the biggest takeaway from this. But u want an example, and I can give u one.

Say in the old version, I had a 190 lb CB who had 100 speed. I also had a 235 lb WLB who had 100 speed. It's pretty obvious who's faster, but now the game will blatantly tell you. Now the game will tell u that a 190 lb CB is 98 speed, while the 235 lb WLB is 88 speed. U can clearly see who's faster without even looking at weight and position.

Another example (more useful). Imagine a 70 speed 190 lb CB and a 85 speed 240 lb TE in the old version. who would win a foot race? U would have to assume and have no definite way to tell. in this version, it would show the cb to be like a 68 in speed while the TE would be like a 73 (these are made up numbers, but u get the point). now u know that the TE would outrun the CB in a footrace.

Thanks to these changes, speed can steadily decrease and increase depending on the player's changing weight. So if a 90 speed cb gains a couple pounds, he could end up being 89 speed, and vice versa for losing pounds.

And now for something completely different.
Watch as my 312# OL, Matthew Beauchemin runs step for step with a 188# CB. Don't like to brag, but my OL had 5 receptions for 112 yards and a TD.

This sounds like major whining to me, isnt it?

It is, but at least I feel better getting it off my chest.
