That is an outstandingly terrible training camp. I take my hat off to the MFN AI for that. We know volatility can kick you where it hurts but you hope there is some boom for each bust or at least the busts are only small ones.

However. Wow.

well if it didnt backfire on him he would look like a genius doing that espeically if they all went + instead of -

Basically he would have a 1974 steelers draft or draft that would come close to matching that awesome which Steelers had drafted 4 hall of famers (jack lambert , mike webster , Lynn swann and john stallworth which btw only other Hall of famer is Dave Casper from that draft which i have said if they were able to get him you probably talking maybe 5 super bowls or even 6 super bowls instead of 4 super bowls they had in the 1970's) if they all didnt bust or maybe that biggest bust was instead biggest gain ever in training camp.


yet it seems he had a draft like the 1992 Colts ( steve emtman and Quentin Coryatt ) which didnt help them at all .

This is more true in 0.4.3 than it was in 0.4.2. Volatile players are more...volatile.

Trying to find the information from JDB. You might have to message him directly. In 0.4.3, players a lot more volatile, especially later in the draft.

That's correct, later draft picks get a random volatility boost. Not all of them will get a big one, but the chances of having a late round boom are higher than they were before. It's possible that the range of motion with higher volatility is higher, I can't remember off the top of my head if that was a 0.4.3 update or if that was active in 0.4.2.

It was 0.4.3. My draft guide was based on 0.4.1, and nothing changed between 0.4.1 and 0.4.2 in terms of volatility that I know of.

Even though it bit me REALLY hard, I like the fact that boom/bust can happen and there are very few sure bets. Makes the game a lot more interesting.

On a personal note, I hope I can hit one the other way around and have a plethora of Booms!! :-)
