JDB,

So what exactly does this mean?

eg <1% prob..... He will retire at the end of the current season,or the end of his current contract?

Will this figure rise at the start of each season?

Thanks again.

It's the probability that he will retire at the end of the season.

How much of a % increase should we except of a older player retiring each season? If it shows say 20 or 30 percent. Is the sim factoring in injuries and playing time of that season?

It's about 10% on average each year; injuries do influence it but only serious ones.

Seems like a bit of overcompensation. Offering my 79/79 QB, fourth highest rated in the league, <1% chance of retiring, 10 yrs, for a first isn't even close to being balanced. I think that a proven QB with tread on the tires should be considered way higher. maybe that's just me though.

Suprised to see this guy only has a 60% chance of retirement.

No kidding... A concussion, a serious knee AND ankle injury, and crazy amounts of other minor injuries. Surprised he hasn't just spontaneously shattered on the field.

He's probably got 10 kids to support and a gambling problem.
