I quit

What's the point in accounting and game planning?

My opponents is repeating the VERY SAME play 3 times, and its ME getting flagged for repetition???

1-10-NYG 19 (3:58) 7-Cecil Foran pass complete to 14-Brian Bacon to NYG 35 for 16 yards. Tackle by 23-Williams Talkington. DAL 23-Williams Talkington was injured on the play. He looks like he should be able to return.
Offensive Play: Singleback Normal TE Quick Out
Defensive Play: Nickel Normal CB3 MLB Blitz - Pass Key
1-10-NYG 35 (3:15) 7-Cecil Foran pass complete to 14-Brian Bacon to DAL 49 for 16 yards. Tackle by 24-Philip Lupien. 14-Brian Bacon did some fancy footwork there.
Offensive Play: Singleback Normal TE Quick Out
Defensive Play: Nickel Normal CB3 LB Blitz - Pass Key
1-10-DAL 49 (2:36) 7-Cecil Foran pass complete to 14-Brian Bacon to DAL 31 for 18 yards. Tackle by 24-Philip Lupien. 14-Brian Bacon breaks down the CB. You can tell that the offense is starting to figure out how to beat that defensive play. DAL 55-Mark Quick was injured on the play. He looks like he should be able to return.

Defensive Play: Nickel Normal Double LB Blitz - Pass Key

Later in the game, he's winning large and goes on the ground.
Again, I play the correct Run Key, to no avail.
17 runs, 16 Run Key-ed, 95 yards for a TD
A beauty of a drive, Starting here

Game planning is useless :(

I noticed that in a game in a previous season. "Hey, I can run the exact same play on offense, they've only got one play on defense they run that'll counter it; there the one's that'll get penalized for play over-use - brilliant!"

Speaking on the passing portion, it's rapid fire passing which has your blitzes turning against you. :(

I notice the penalty applied at around 3 plays. It when you get to the ranges of 5 to 10 times you will begin to see the application in the reader . As so and so is abusing this play and it had a negative impact on them . Anything above that is not recommended .

Nfl teams usually blitz at most 50 % of the time. I am not saying blitzing 85% time won't work here but you blitz alot. Your opponent had 100 run block for a lot of olineman . Keys act as slight boosts in skills and pre snap positioning , but not to the level of overusing a play. Especially blitzes . Running on non goaline defensive formations is easier in this version as well.

The parabolizing of ratings has all this having a more profound effect as well . Maybe I am missing something here as your opponent qb hasn't got sacked at all or I clicked on the wrong game log or something .

Look, I had so many blitzes quite because I chose DIFFERENT plays to defend vs his favorite formations. And if I avoid zones schemes, there are blitzes then.
Indeed, on that series I played 3 different schemes on 3 plays. NYG played the same scheme 3 times.
That's why I complain.

Off ball defenders react quicker now . Zone, and base defenses are more useful because of it . I am not counting the exact senerios just noting he blitzed less than 50 % of the time and you were closer to 90%. Perhaps at that point you were overusing offensive plays ? I don't really know?

I am thinking at that point he was at less than 5 plays and you were at more than 5 times over used. To me it's that sensitive .

I don't want anyone quiting, but I don't want to see 90% blitz schemes successful all game long either .

Thanks Franke on revealing that play. ;)

once again, if my play calling was blitz 90% of the time, it's because I had no other plays to call (with except to playing zone on defense). If I'm given the choice, I'd never blitz. But I have no choice.

Anyway, I don't see what's the matter of the defense blitzing with the fact that he completed 3 straight passes of 16 yds using the same play.
I don't think it ever happens in real life.

be my guest! :)

actually, NYG shredded me to pieces even before the infamous drive(s).
He used any kind of screens and runs to make my settings fail.
Still, when I got the Run/Pass keys correct, he kept killing me.
That's that

Without detailing, my suggestion would be to look at your defensive plays and refine them. Swap out, strengthen.

That's my nudge/nudge assistance. :)
