Please Please give the Dline arms!

MFN 2 Just finished the regular season.
23 QB's threw for 6,500 to 4,000 yards.
1,200 yard WR's fill the whole list and 6 WR's are over 2,000 yards.

A increase in effective tackle range and a decrease in WR and QB break tackle would put us much closer to realistic numbers.

Really? In my leagues I haven't seen a QB break 4500 or a receiver break 2000. Are the leagues that different?

One stat to pay attention to is yards per attempt, I think some leagues have teams that pass more than the normal NFL team does. I haven't looked at MFN-2 so don't know if that's the case there. I do know though that the YAC for receivers is too high and an starting some patches to tweak that.

i am hoping that before you throw patches around you investigate why it is. Is it because the recievers have too high an advantage or is it that the defence are calling bad plays? are the defenders being beaten by the recievers because they are outclassed or because the recievers have a boost thats not fair? Throwing out a patch just to stop something would ruin this great game. a patch should enhance a part of the game not hamstring one.

I agree, that's part of why issues like this don't get fixed quickly. If it's not something obvious then it takes a lot of study to figure out the solution. Also, it's difficult to solve more than one problem at a time, because an attempt to solve one problem may make the other problem worse.

And after all that craziness about the timeout issues these patches are going to spend more time percolating in MFN-1. MFN-1 is about to end the season but there's not enough changes in there right now to justify a release, so any changes in queue this will spend another season there before moving to the general build.

Absolutely agree on that, and I for one have been guilty of trying to get stuff pushed through.

The 5,000 yard plus passers are averaging 8.5 to 11.8 yards per attempt. This is not a new phenomenon. 110+ qb ratings are common every season. Last season a number of qbs went over 7000 yards. The current list of sack leaders has less than 10 over 10 sacks. Teams sack totals are 10 to 20 short of the average for all last 3 seasons that i checked. Please give the dline a bump and qbs and wrs a nerf.

There is a WR that has 2,590 yards... Why is this even a discussion?

I'm new around here, but I have noticed something that may be contributing to the high passing totals.

On many teams accross the three leagues I'm playing in. I see folks playing CBs with ratings that look good...but. To me a 68 CB should be good...right? But the you look closer and these guys have a top speed of like 41 and exceleration of 22 or something. Yeah their MM skill is near 100 and their zone coverage is as well. But come on, How they gonna cover a WR with 100 speed and 98 excel. on a deep pass. CBs need to be fast. Or am I missing something here?
