Injury is calculated by fatigue/current health/injury slider and determined by a RNG

Fatigue is effected by a players weight, hence needing to rotate them heavily to avoid fatigue.

WRONG

The only effect WEIGHT has is speed....period. It's not a variable in any RNG....period!

That's the major flaw of this sim!

Believe what you want "Theadmiral", I really don't care.

I wasn't aware that you had written the code for 4.6 - my bad

If using an underweight player resulted in more frequent injuries we wouldn't have needed to make custom rules in 4.5. We would let people use 191 lb CBs on the front 4 on punt blocks. I hear your words and the words of others regarding injuries occurring more frequently for underweight players but to my knowledge, nobody has presented any evidence this is true.

I'm not going to waste my time proving this one way or the other. Perhaps Setherick can produce some sort of algorithm that can do it automatically. I don't know how you'd even go about it to be perfectly honest.

You can still put lightweight players on the line to try to get a punt block, they'll get through on occasions and will get to the Punter if his timing is less than 75 but the blocking is better, which means your guy is going to take more hits over the course of a game. More hits = more wear and tear = more chance of getting injured.

OL and DL probably get the most injuries in MFN, as they are crunching into each other on every play, you need to have the depth to rotate them or they will get gassed and/or injured.

If you're in a league with a low injury setting and the majority of teams going lightweight, I would anticipate you see less injuries and more sacks.

You say all this **** like it's a fact when it's really just your opinion. All of this talk about lighter players getting injured more is just logical conjecture and not based in facts. Then you turn around and say heavier players getting lighter increases injuries too.

I didn't say that and often say that these are my opinions.

It's a balance thing. Heavier players get gassed quicker so need to be rotated more often.

You may not have said it per se, but this shows you agree with that statement.

What has that got to do with heavier players getting lighter?

EDIT:

A heavier player will tire quicker - whether that's because he's playing in his regular position or playing out of position, or is converting to a new position. Tired players are more likely to get injuries (MY OPINION) What are you not getting?

What do you think "overweight players switching positions" means? That's what the guy you quoted said. What did you think he was referring to?

Do you believe that fatigue has no impact on injuries - if so, try running a roster with all playing positions set to 100 on the slider

What I'm not getting is aggravated about this like you are. Wouldn't you rather be doing anything else right now besides defend this horrible version of MFN? The longer you keep posting, extolling the virtues of this ****, I and others will keep posting telling the other side.

Want it to stop? Quit telling us how good 4.6 is. Most of us don't believe you and I for one will keep trolling you.
