Scouting next weeks opponent - CUST-9

So I believe I understand scouting your opponents offense and defense, but think I might be missing some part that happens after that.

IS there a way to practice different plays against the information you have received from scouting? Both Offense and Defense?

I too have a question regarding scouting, so if you don't mind I'll add it in here:

When's the deadline for scouting the opponent? Right up to the match itself? Or is it supposed to be done before the midweek update so they can 'practise' the scouted plays during the midweek?

You can scout your opponent up until the server pulls all of the settings to run the sim. The running comment on the forum is that if you do your scouting within 5 minutes of the countdown timer hitting 00:00, you should be fine. :)

Thanks but does it need doing before the midweek sim runs as that's what the team will train during the midweek or before the game sim

Back to my initial question: does one have to do something specific, after clicking the "scout opponent" (on offense and defense). The "practice" is another step? Or just imaginary? "Cyber practice?" Is this "Virtual practice?"

No. What you're doing by scouting is increasing your teams knowledge of plays, which helps them defend against or exploit a defensive play.

If my team is more familiar with a play I un-click it and add another play thats less familiar...(Offensive scouting) Especially if the number of times called is close...

The 'Knowledge Bar' or 'Familiarity Bar'... I have a question.

On MY Plays, it makes perfect sense. It's the Plays I am most Familiar with, and thus SHOULD have the best chances of Success with (or at least the least chance of breaking down due to missed assignment).

When I Scout... is that MY Bar still, or the Scouted Team's bar? Is that MY Familiarity with 2/2/1 TE Out, or THEIR Familiarity?

The reason I ask is because I want to be Scouting the plays they are most Familiar with, thus more likely to run... but I don't want to Scout plays I already have the hang of.

So I need to make sure I understand WHOSE Knowledge or Familiarity I'm seeing in Scout.

I've asked this a few times and been given the answer a few times yet I cannot recall which way round! Shows how rubbish I am at this game! :0
