O-line men: Jack of all trades?!

So, I'm trying to trawl through all top teams rosters to spot where they place most weighting in choosing their number one starters for each position. I've just been through a number of top teams who have confused me greatly.
Nearly every player that I clicked on was in the depth chart at a different position to his assigned position. I get this if it's one odd player or a cover position due to injuries but not nearly each man! RG's playing as LT. LGs playing as RT/LTs etc.

Any ideas?? Is it perhaps to do with trying to adjust the player's weight according to position??

Ouch, the Tigers have fallen to fourth on jhart's power rankings. I hate to think where that puts the Ironborn...

To answer your question, it's usually to give that player experience at the other position. Once I have a player on the o-line at 100 XP at his "natural" position, I then immediately swap them to a position they haven't learned yet. That way if injuries hit I can retool my o-line on the fly without a huge hit to their performance from lack of XP.

ya he asked me why i started a specific defensive end over others one game and i kept thinking "this British spy" is watching me. I guess i need to stop being so paranoid, lol

Ok thanks. Just assumed guard and tackle positrons weren't so interchangeable - From the book I'm reading they all have slight nuances

Re my power rankings: ha ha maybe I should have a thread for these! ! :0

Think of me as a feeder club to your mighty Chelsea - no harm to share your reasoning etc as we'll never be up there with you lot! But I'm determined to do my **** best to get there one day!
