Question about custom league

Does the league really require a 50% ownership level to run a sim, I am asking because I do not know how hard it is to find people to get a league going and I am thinking of starting my own

Yes! There needs to be at least 16 owners in order for sims to run. A cool and unique idea for a league will usually draw players.

How many active players are on this website? I was thinking maybe making it fun like having radio shows for the season or Youtube livestream radio shows could draw interest to a league.

* And also is it just 15 credits to create a league and thats it or do I have to keep renewing the league? I am just asking so I cover all my bases

just 15 credits to create league

though you need other credits i think to edit teams , edit players , to be able to edit teams every season , etc.

Okay one more question and I’m done asking stupid questions. Is the draft in the off season live or is it based off draft boards?

A little bit of both I guess you could say. You could sit at your computer all day and watch each round of the draft and make your choice when you’re on the timer.

Or, for someone like me who is at work most of the day, you can set up your draft board with several options and hope the players you want are still there when your team is on the clock. Otherwise you set your auto settings so that you get some decent players after your manual board is exhausted.

One thing to note about starting a new league... that first draft is more than 40 rounds. So be prepared for a long draft. Just like any other draft, each pick occurs at a scheduled time.

then OP should join a league that is in allocation draft to see if they still wants to do one

Gabe778, if you decide against starting a league of your own, you are more than welcome to join ANARCHY. I took over admin status from a former player (jsid).
Many Created Leagues struggle to keep a full roster of GM's, including my own League.

If I were to join a league in which I wanted to start something cool like a radio show, which are the most active leagues with openings?
