The fuss is if it becomes the norm.

Anyone could come onto the Community Help Board and freely ask 'how do I combat this' in my Title Game and Ray'll gladly jump right in to provide all the information they need when that flies in the face of everything which has to do with 'good competition' and 'fair, respectful' play between two GMs in an important match-up.

There's lines/barriers which shouldn't be crossed.

Getting help => Crossing a line in competitive fairness.

You're joking, right? :D

If not, I'm sorry that I've conspired with several users in the shadows. I'll accept my judgement in this Spygate and keep doing it. Kthx.

Yes, because you're a troll and have been since Day 1.

Only help I needed in learning the game was Seth's Guides and making my own observations. Digging in hard and doing things on my OWN. Picking things up that were placed on the forum and incorporating. Learning as I went on and weaving it into what I do. I'll gladly help someone on PM or a League Chat and I'd never misdirect someone in advice or talk them into circles. I'll put them on the fast track with what works for me....direct and a nudge which I've done plenty of times. I think it's completely fair to give advice and help GMs to put them in a position to compete and to stray them from having stuff in their game plans which will set them up for failure. I also think every little nuance shouldn't be shared as the GM needs to advance on their own merits like I and others have done.

But I can tell you this. If someone PM'd me and directly asked me questions on how to beat another GM and we'll make it an example so I can drive it home....if someone PM'd me wanting a detailed game plan on how to defeat CJ in an upcoming Title Game or Deep Playoff Contest I wouldn't give that person one typed word of assistance.

Ridiculous personal attacks aside; when did anyone ever do that?

Giving a specific example is hardly in that category.

Or is it simply a competitive disadvantage you should be forever hamstrung by, that you don't have the time to play 15 half full leagues to test things?

To me, this (imo excellent) topic is being completely drowned in nonsense by selfish people wanting people to stay in the dark for their own benefit, exactly opposite of what Setherick did.

If posting an unidentifiable screenshot is all it takes to destroy the spirit of good competition, I think it's not the one who posts it who has a problem.

Blah blah blah. Done responding to you.

Seth provided a great service to the site and was extremely helpful for a very long period of time...

until he created a code all for himself and it forced us to play under it.

Is that a promise?

I know how much a kicker ruined your self image. Don't want this weighing you down as well.
