I could use some help, I've tried all day to no avail.
How can I use Open Office when downloading games and csv files?
I don't have Excel or any Microsoft products.
Any help would be appreciated..
Wolf

Once you have OO installed, you can use Calc (OO's version of Excel) to open the csv files. From there, if you want to make the effort, you can copy and paste the data into tables in Base (OO's version of Access).

I can open the file, but it doesn't look like what Excel should look like. I'm guessing I need to play around with settings...?

Can someone tell me how to sort the run and pass plays in OO?

if you're using Calc:

Data -> Filter -> Standard Filter
Field: Text
Condition: contains/does not contain
Value: pass

It doesn't exactly sort them, but it lets you look at one or the other. You can add more conditions to remove ST plays from the run subset if you want.

If you're using Base, you can do it using a SQL query.

I think Libre Office is more similar to Microsoft Office -- and I recall my dad talking about OO not being developed anymore, while LO is.

I might've not really listened though. Just a thought.

OO Base's wizards ****, and OO Calc is a memory-eating monster. I'll give it a shot, thanks!
