If your a true football fan, then you have heard the end of an era for the city and fans of San Diego.

The evil necessities in the NFL decided it would be best for the organization to move to Los Angeles, effective immediately.

Although I'm not from San Diego, this move upsets me dearly as the San Diego Chargers have been one of my favorite teams in the league. I have been a fan of Phillip Rivers ever since I started getting a grasp of the game of football when I was little, and to relocate the San Diego Chargers to LA makes me furious.

I can't even imagine what the die-hard fans in San Diego must be feeling right now. If my team (Seattle Seahawks) decided to relocate, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

Well i really wish that the NFL commissioner would grow a pair and not allow this to happen.

i was discussing this with my father and i really think that this is bad sign because i think now you have pretty much given all the NFL teams wiggle room to pull a stunt like this where we could have maybe 1 NFL team moving every season from now on.

You would think NFL would really think about the short run/short term and the long run/long term allowing something like this happen when in reality they are only thinking of the short run/short term where now teams could just move if the money is good or they could get a good investment on their move awhile basically overlooking the long run/long term because really if this happens every season or where there is always threats every season i would think the teams moving would sooner or later kill off the NFL because you cant just keep losing fans and doing stupid like this where it isnt going to hurt you at some point.

A city that couldn't hold onto its two teams before now gets to compete for its fan base a second time. All thanks to the NFL's absurd policy to wring every city for every cent it can, forcing them to pay for these ridiculous stadiums when the league makes more than enough profit to build a dozen new stadiums every year. It's not like the NFL is already publicly funded as it is by allowing them a bogus tax exempti... oh wait...

Goodell is THE worst commissioner I can ever remember.
He's not popular amongst players either... more statements like this I reckon.

Steelers should re-locate to their natural home: Sheffield (steel city)
Rams to Wales
Raiders to Viking Stavanger in Norway
Dolphins to S-W Australia
Bengals to India
Jaguars to Brazil
Lions to Kenya
Bears to Sweden
Vikings to Norway also
Panthers to South America
Saints to Southampton
Falcons to Falklands

You can keep the Browns ;)

And the Chargers are going to be a dumpster fire. LA doesn't even care about 1 team right now, let alone 2. The Rams aren't even top 3 in the LA TV market each weekend, the Chargers could well be even lower. Complete mess, best case scenario the 2 years that the Chargers play in LA before they formally ground share with the Rams allows all parties to see sense and the team moves back to San Diego.

But that said, I love the fact that San Diego completely binned Spanos off when he came calling with his begging bowl. I don't see him returning to San Diego unless they shell out for his new stadium, and I don't see how that would happen when they already sent him packing once already sooooooo.....pretty bleak!
