Post game stats

There are lots and that's great.
I would find it very useful to have a breakdown of which off / def play was used, how many times and avg per call.
I know I can get my stats for this via the off plays tab and set to 1 recent game but I would like to be able to look back at any particular game and see why things worked or didn't work for both teams. Great for scouting a team and working out how a team beat them or maybe what they did well etc?

That's what game film is for. You can watch any game or look at the film for "said" game to find all of that. Why would you want that stuff just handed to you? It takes away from the realism. Coaches have to put in time for that stuff. So we should, too. The reward isn't as appreciated, if no effort is involved.

Btw, good luck tonight in our game in Cust-10. I'm looking forward to it! :)
I actually think you will win, but it'll still be fun.

I believe coaches have this information (and more) handed to them by the scouting department (actually it is available digitally where it can be filtered any number of ways).

They can also watch film in many different ways than we can. For example: 3rd and short plays only or just plays where the TE is spread out, etc.

This type of information is even available to a lot of high school coaches, and they don't create it themselves.

My point is that someone puts in work. These are our teams, not JDB's. If he wants to create a "Scouting Department" then that might be cool. Just don't "give" it to us.

The plays you used is available for your last game, look at your off or def plays and move the drop down to 1. That will give you information on the plays you used last game.

So we shouldn't have box scores either?
Or league leaders?
Or see any "historical" data when in gameplanning screens?

We could gather that information ourselves too.

Heck, we could figure out the standings if we had to, but it's nice that it's already done for us.

I don't think the argument that "someone" has to do it (so it should be US) is valid, unless you also think we should have to compile all of the stats ourselves. What separates one stat from another in terms of what we should have to compile vs what the Ai provides?

There are certain aspects of MFN where putting in more time should enable you to do a better job with your team, but compiling stats that should be readily available isn't one of them (in my opinion).

It should be your ability to decide what to do with the stats that gives you an advantage, not your ability to get the stats.

He was referring to the plays his opponent used in the last game (the one they just played).

Something like the tendencies of your opponent would be nice, since your own tendencies are already provided, would be nice. To go to this extent

, in my opinion would be excessive (very complicated for JDB). Perhaps later down the road it could be implemented, but there are other things that are tantamount to this. Especially since we can do it ourselves at the moment, with a little or a lot of effort.
