Toggle Play Outcome Data

I've suggested this before, but I just wanted to reiterate that I would love to be able to toggle how many games/seasons the game tallies when calculating the 'avg per call' for my O/D plays.

What sample size does it use currently? I can see where it would not be a very useful metric if it included other seasons.

I'd like to have the option to reset the count back to zero. When your team changes, the average yards per play could change drastically. If its still taking into consideration plays from last season, it could take a long time to show the improvement or decline for each play.

I like this

I would like my team to learn the plays a quicker. I have teams that have gone 3 seasons and have used the same plays and my team has a knowledge of about 33% on those plays however I have plays in my playbook that I have never used one single time yet I have a 100% knowledge. I would think the rate of increase would be greater and there should be some sort of decline in knowledge of a play you never use in a gameplan.

Yeah- I really don't get this honestly. I've similarly had some plays in my PB that I've used since day 1 that are still hardly any further along, yet quite a number I've never touched that are at near 100% every season no matter how much turnover I seem to have in personnel.

My assumption is that, the plays are called by the Head Coach, if you have the same Head Coach he is still going to call the same plays the next season. The plays, are each, a part of his system? No?

My understanding is that the Team Familiarity meter is a reflection of the sum PLAYER knowledge, rather than the coach's understanding of the plays in his own playbook. Different coaches (even those with the same style, ie West Coast) will have access to different plays, but won't call plays that you do not 'check off' on.

This is correct. You can see what each player on your team knows about your playbook in his "plays" tab.

The players study all the plays in your coach's playbook during training camp, then they study the plays you have selected for the game plan during each game week. They also gain some knowledge of the play every time they are part of the play during a game. If you have a similar game plan every week and don't have a lot of roster turnover or change your head coach you shouldn't take too long to get high familiarity bars for your most-used plays. Scouting plays usually takes longer because you don't necessarily see the same plays from week to week.

+1

Would also be great if there were other filters for this data. Down/distance, etc.
