I made a tool a few seasons ago in order to help with contract extensions. If you have the patience to resign every player manually, it will save you cap space. I've decided to release it to everybody now. Hope it helps out.

Ha. I've done the same thing.

Mine also has a section for calculating the biggest "max" offer, although I'm not sure I've ever actually offered that much for a FA.
