With latest draft boost, I I would covet a top 20 pick.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. A trade of 1380 to 1300 is a **** good trade according to each team's needs. Maybe you should concentrate on your 2-14 team Miami instead of moonlighting as an ESPN commentator who has no clue what he's talking about. Call me the Jerry Jones of the league and cry harder.

New England
Draft Picks Draft Pick Trade Score 2077 Round 1 Selection 21 (New England) 800 2077 Round 2 Selection 21 (New England) 370 Miami Players Name Position Rating Trade Score #41 John Roth RB 82 / 82 321 #35 David Blackmon CB 84 / 84 472 Draft Picks Draft Pick Trade Score 2077 Round 5 Selection 2 (Miami) 42 2078 Round 5 (Miami) 36 Total trade score imbalance of 299 in Miami's favor. Looks like somebody who owns teams in 20 different leagues took advantage of a rookie owner. Talk about an awful trade. Accusers are usually the guilty party. |

No wonder teams are afraid to trade.

Since you're so smart, Toddy, you'd know I won the league the previous season - changed HC to try passing and Zone D, both of which have had work done on them to improve the game. Am I in numerous leagues? Sure. Like to keep leagues active, avoiding closing down, also it's useful for testing the game out as someone who contributes to it's improvement.
Citing my trade is dumb because it shows how ignorant t=you are going off trade value points, which everybody knows are broken to begin with. Stellasogood instigated the trade, someone with 8 years experience in the game. Speed should decline on the RB but averaged over 5 ypc. Blackmon contributed. I also gave up picks. Did NE slightly overpay? Sure. I'd have been happy with 2nd + 3rd. Bit different from fleecing someone. As for the trade in question, an 11 yr vet (speed starting to decline the next season) was sent for a **** DT, a 1st and a 3rd. Spot the issue, kid. I guess in your 8 years in the game you've not learnt how bad trade scores are... an areas JDB needs to work on. Your response is interesting. Since you know JDB is an "absent" admin in the league, you got away with it... |

Still don't get your point on my trade. I needed improvement at DT and Detroit needed high draft picks more than I did. We're both pleased with the trade. If both trade partners are pleased with the outcome, why would it bother you enough to be a name-calling jerk to even comment on it. I'm here to play a game and have fun, not repeat junior high.
My team, my management style. |
