You are under no obligation to make any trades. Trading can quickly mess your team up - only trade if you really need it. Spend more time building your game plan and setting your depth charts.

It would benefit new and old owners alike if new players had some time to get used to things first. I think it takes awhile to figure out the value of a player or draft pick relative to another. I would even say that a player's value changes league to league, depending on the talent pool available.

Most likely I'll add a block on any account that has been created within a time period rather than on a per-league basis. Is 30 days too long do you think? Too short? This would prevent any user from making trades for 30 days after they create their account, but after that time they would be able to make trades immediately after joining any league.
