BREAKING NEWS!!! Indianapolis fires WR coach!

In a strange turn of events. Indianapolis GM has fired position coach Shawn Crepeau. Crepeau had been with Indianapolis for the past two seasons including a post season appearance in 2014. The news came after a disappointing loss to Pittsburgh in Week 9.

When asked about what happened, head coach Jeffrey Porter in a statement released to the press had this to say:

"I have the utmost respect for Shawn and wish him nothing but the best of luck. Unfortunately in this business, these decisions have to be made sometimes. Our receivers on this team have loads of talent but something just didn't seem right with them lately. We've been experiencing tons of drops and it seems like they weren't always on the same page as our offensive coordinator, so we got together with our GM and had to come to a decision. We decided maybe it was time for a change."

"We decided to hire a pretty seasoned vet at the position in Robert Rawson. Rob's been around a while and has worked with some pretty good talent in the league. He seems to be focused on catching the ball and running good clean routes so I think he'll bring a lot to the team. Not only should it benefit our WR's but our other players as well from the QB to the TE's to the RB's. I'm excited to work with him. I know he is and I know the players are as well."
