A huge defensive battle in Tampa Bay ends in a tie - the game had some impressive special teams play, including the first punt returned for a TD by Denver, and later TBY makes up for it by dropping a kick on the 1-inch line. Late in the fourth both teams become interception machines, and then in OT we can't each can't get out of our own ways, with penalties turning what should have been makeable field goals into long ones that were missed.

I see that there was one other tie - with an exchange of field goals keeping the OT period going through the full 15 minutes in the Houston/Tennessee game.

Had a odd outcome after a safety. This was the play, but instead of taking the safety I think the other team took the penalty?

1-15-SDO 5 (8:19) 15-Herbert Lancaster sacked at SDO 0 for -5 yards. Sack allowed by 71-William Stephenson. (78-Brian Draper) SAFETY! (78-Brian Draper) 15-Herbert Lancaster sacked at SDO 0 for 0 yards PENALTY - Holding (SDO 70-Marvin Nelson)

Thanks for the report - that play looks like it got really confused. I'll look into it.

Back on the winning path, a good day on defense and that's always welcome news in Pittsburgh these days

Tough loss to take against the Cincy AI.

Was nice to see Ranieri in beast mode with both our scores. Had a chance with the clock winding down in the 4th, but offsetting penalties on a key 1st down pick-up quashed our momentum and killed the drive. And giving up a 34 yard rush on 3rd and 3 with less than 2 minutes to play iced it.

Time to regroup and prepare for a HUGE matchup against Denver.
